Troubleshooting

I can't sign in

Work through these in order: the cause is usually the password, the second factor, or single sign-on on your company's domain.

You are sent to your identity provider instead of being asked for a password

Your company requires single sign-on, so an address on its verified domain signs in through the company's identity provider, whether you use a password or a passkey. Google and GitHub sign-in stop working for those addresses. Sign in through the identity provider. If that fails, see My single sign-on login fails.

Your password is refused

Use Forgot your password? on the sign-in form to get a reset link. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder, and check that you are using the address the account was created with.

If you signed up with Google or GitHub, use the same button on the sign-in page.

The authentication code is always wrong

Authentication codes are time-based, so a phone whose clock has drifted produces codes that never match. Set the phone's clock to update automatically and try again.

If you no longer have your authenticator, choose log in using a recovery code and enter one of the recovery codes you saved when you turned on two-factor authentication. Each code works once.

If you have lost both your authenticator and your recovery codes, nobody in your workspace can turn two-factor off for you. Email hello@transglot.ai from the address on the account.

Your passkey is not offered

A passkey is only available where it is stored: the device you created it on, or the password manager that keeps it. On another device, sign in with your password, then add a passkey there.

You are asked to confirm your email address

The console needs a confirmed email address. Open the link transglot emailed you, or select Resend verification email. If the address is wrong, select Wrong address? Change it.

You signed in but see no workspace

Signing in worked; you are not in a workspace yet. If you are expecting an invitation, open the private link in the invitation email. There is no way to look an invitation up. See Accept an invitation.
