Your profile
Change the name and email address your teammates see, or delete your login.
Who can do this: everyone, for their own login.
Your profile belongs to you, not to a workspace. If you belong to several workspaces, they all show the same name and address.
Change your name or email address
Open Profile
Open Settings, choose the You tab, then Profile.
Edit your details
Edit Name ("Shown on your comments, assignments and activity.") or Email address.
Save
Select Save changes. Saving does not sign you out anywhere.
Confirm it is you (email changes only)
If you changed your email address, confirm your password or use a passkey when asked. Changing your name alone never asks for this.
Verify the new address
transglot emails the new address a verification link. Until you open it, the page shows address unverified. Re-send the verification email sends the link again.
A warning also goes to your old address, so the person who holds it always finds out. The confirmation step exists because password resets are sent to the address on your login: anyone who could move it without your password could take over the login.
Delete your profile and sign-in
Under Delete your profile and sign-in, enter your Password and select Delete your profile. "Your login goes, with its sign-in methods, notifications and saved views. Invitations you sent that are still waiting are withdrawn, and any seat you held is given back." Work you did inside workspaces keeps your name.
There is no grace window
Deleting your profile is immediate, every session ends, and it cannot be undone.
Deleting is refused while you are the only Owner of an account that still has workspaces, members, invitations or a billing record. Add another Owner or discard the account first. See Account Owners and Billing members. An account you are the only Owner of, with none of those, is closed along with your login. It is also refused while an account you own is closing or has an unpaid invoice.
If it doesn't work
- The form refuses the new address: another transglot login already uses it, or it belongs to a temporary inbox service. Use a permanent address. If it is permanent and still refused, contact support.
- You signed in with Google, GitHub or your company directory and never set a password: on the confirmation screen, choose Sign out and reset your password. You receive a link to set one, then sign back in and try again.
