Notification preferences
Choose which events reach you in the app and by email, which kinds of email you receive, and how often the digest arrives.
Who can do this: everyone, for themselves. These settings are yours alone and apply in every workspace you belong to. "Nothing changes for your teammates."
Open Notifications settings
Open Settings, choose the You tab, then Notifications. You can also select Preferences in your notification inbox.
Set the digest
Under Email digest, choose a Frequency: Daily, Weekly or Off.
Choose the kinds of email
Under Kinds of email, turn each kind on or off.
Choose the channels for each event
Under Per-event channels, tick In-app, Email or both for each event.
Save
Select Save preferences, or Discard to undo your changes.
The email digest
The digest is "a rollup of what you have not read", sent daily or weekly, or not at all. Events marked "(emailed immediately)" do not wait for the digest: they are emailed when they happen, as long as their kind of email and their own Email switch are on.
Kinds of email

Security and billing email cannot be turned off.
Per-event channels
Every event appears in your in-app inbox by default. Directed events, such as a mention or a review request, are also emailed by default; routine events, such as a batch finishing, are not.
