Quality

The per-language scorecard

Compare quality across languages in the MQM vocabulary buyers and vendors use, and export it as a PDF or a CSV.

The scorecard turns the results of your quality checks into one score per language, in the industry-standard MQM vocabulary. Use it to compare languages, to see which kind of problem a language has, and to answer a procurement questionnaire or a renewal review without assembling the numbers by hand.

Open the project, select Quality, then the Scorecard tab. Everyone who can open the project can read it. The figures are included on Team and above; on other plans the page keeps its layout with no figures, under "The MQM quality scorecard unlocks on the Team plan."

What it shows

The scorecard re-expresses findings your quality checks already produced. It does not re-examine your translations, and reading or exporting it costs nothing from your AI allowance.

Per-language quality has one row per target language:

ColumnWhat it shows
LanguageThe target language.
MQM scoreThe language's quality score, 0 to 100. See What does the quality score mean?
Checked of translatedHow many of the language's translated strings have been checked. A score covers only those.
% needing a checkThe share of translated strings flagged for review.
Avg confidenceThe average confidence of the language's AI translations.

Below the table:

  • Auto-approve rate, Strings gate-scored and Mean confidence: how much of the AI output was routed past review, for projects that route by confidence. See Configure checks and automation.
  • Top MQM error dimensions: where findings fall across Accuracy, Fluency, Terminology, Style and Locale convention.
  • Quality over time: each language's weekly score over the last 12 weeks.
  • A methodology note stating how the figures are computed, for the reader who wants to check them.

Export the scorecard

Select Print / PDF and choose your browser's save-as-PDF option. The console's navigation is left out of the printout, so what you get is the scorecard alone, with the project name and when it was generated.

On plans with custom branding, the printout carries your logo and product name, and the CSV is titled with your product name. Otherwise the CSV is titled with the workspace name.

If it doesn't work

  • "No scored languages yet": the project has nothing to score yet. Translate some strings, then run a quality check.
  • A language has no MQM score: none of its strings has been checked yet. Run a check on that language.
  • No Export CSV button: exporting needs the Admin role, or an Owner of the account.
