Connect BigCommerce
Import BigCommerce product names and descriptions into transglot for translation.
Import only
Nothing is written back to BigCommerce today: its per-language product write API is in beta and limited to Catalyst storefronts. Take the translations out through the REST API, the transglot CLI or the CDN.

Before you start
In your BigCommerce store's API settings, create a store-level API account with these scopes:
- Products: read-only
- Store information: read-only
Copy the access token, and the store hash from the account's API path (api.bigcommerce.com/stores/{hash}/…).
Connect
Open your project's settings, choose CMS, and pick BigCommerce in the CMS list. There is no URL to type.
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Store hash | The store hash, letters and digits only, for example abc123 |
| API token | The store-level API account's access token |
| Content types | products |
| Translatable fields | name, description, or both |
Select Connect, then Test connection. A successful test names the store.
What gets imported
transglot reads every product through the v3 Catalog API and imports the mapped fields that hold text.
Troubleshooting
... the credentials were rejected. The token is wrong or the API account is missing a scope above.... the store or product was not found, check the store hash.Check Store hash.... the store is rate-limited, retry.Wait and run the sync again.
