Connect Kontent.ai
Import Kontent.ai content into transglot and write reviewed translations into each item's target-language variant.

Before you start
- Add your target languages to the environment. Their codenames must match the language codes in your transglot project.
- Create a Management API key in the environment's API key settings.
- Note the environment ID.
Connect
Open your project's settings, choose CMS, and pick Kontent.ai in the CMS list. There is no URL to type.

Select Connect, then Test connection. A successful test names the environment.
What gets imported
For each content type, transglot reads every item's source-language variant and imports the mapped elements whose value is text.
How translations are written back
Each language is a separate variant of the same item. For each target language, transglot reads that variant, replaces only the mapped elements' values, and saves it. Every other element keeps its value. A target variant that does not exist yet is created with only the mapped elements.
If the target variant is in the Published or Scheduled workflow step, it cannot be changed in place, so transglot first creates a new version of it and writes the translations into that new version. The source-language variant is never addressed.
Troubleshooting
... the credentials were rejected.The Management API key is wrong or revoked.... the environment, type, item or variant was not found, check the settings.Check Environment ID and the content type codenames.... Kontent.ai is rate-limiting the request, retry.Wait and run the sync or publish again.
