Connect Klaviyo
Import Klaviyo email template names and content into transglot for translation.
Import only
Nothing is written back to Klaviyo. A Klaviyo template is single-language and has no per-language slot to write into. Take the translations out through the REST API, the transglot CLI or the CDN.
| Direction | Import only |
| Imported | Email template name, HTML and text |
| Written back | Nothing |
| Sync | Sync from CMS |
| Per sync | Up to 500 templates |
| Plan | Starter and above |
Before you start
Create a private API key in your Klaviyo account's API key settings, with the templates:read scope.
Connect
Open your project's settings, choose CMS, and pick Klaviyo in the CMS list. There is no URL to type: the key identifies the account.
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Private API key | Your private API key (it starts with pk_) |
| Content types | templates |
| Translatable fields | Any of name, html, text |
Select Connect, then Test connection.
What gets imported
transglot reads the email templates in your account and imports the mapped fields: the template's name, and its HTML and text bodies. One sync reads up to 500 templates.
Troubleshooting
... the credentials were rejected. The key is wrong, revoked, or lacks thetemplates:readscope. A public API key (site ID) does not work.... the template was not found. The template was removed while the sync ran. Run Sync from CMS again.... Klaviyo is rate-limiting the request, retry.Wait and run the sync again.
