Workspace settings
Rename a workspace, connect its Slack channel, see which account it belongs to, and find the way to move or delete it.
A workspace's General settings page holds what the workspace is called, where it posts, the account it belongs to, and the one way to close it. Open Settings, choose the Workspace tab, then General.
Who can use it: every member can open the page. What each person can change depends on their role:
| Card | Who can change it |
|---|---|
| Workspace name | Admins and account Owners (permission Rename the workspace) |
| Slack notifications | Admins and account Owners (permission Manage integrations) |
| The account it belongs to | Read-only for members. Account Owners also see Open account and Move to another account. |
| Delete this workspace | Account Owners only |
When nothing on the page is yours to change, it says: "Nothing here is yours to change. An admin can rename this workspace and connect Slack, and only an Owner of its account can delete it."
Rename the workspace
Enter the new name
Under Workspace name, type the new name.
Save it
Select Save name. The message reads "Workspace renamed to" followed by the new name.
The name is "Shown across the app, on your exports and in the emails this workspace sends." The workspace's web address does not change, so existing links, bookmarks and README badges keep working. The rename is recorded in the audit log.
Connect Slack
Paste a Slack incoming-webhook URL into Slack incoming-webhook URL to post batch, QA, comment and review events to a channel. Select Save, or Save & send test to check the channel straight away. Disconnect stops the channel receiving this workspace's alerts. See Connect Slack for the full setup.
The account it belongs to
This card names the account that pays for the workspace, its plan, and its Owners, for example "Acme Localization belongs to Acme Inc, on Team." Ask the Owners it lists about the plan, the card and the invoices.
- Open account opens the account's settings, for its Owners and Billing members.
- Move to another account starts moving the workspace to a different account you own. See Move a workspace to another account.
Delete the workspace
Delete this workspace starts a countdown before the workspace is removed. See Delete a workspace.
