Yes. The zero-dependency transglot npm package gives you init, pull, push, and status — install it with npx transglot or npm i -g transglot, and authenticate with a tgl_ project token. There’s also a first-party GitHub Action that pushes source files, waits for the AI batch, and pulls translations back in CI. Everything is still scriptable over the REST API too.

Yes — the code is open-source under the MIT license, so transglot is a genuine present-day alternative if you’re migrating off Texterify or evaluating tools like Weblate or Tolgee. It’s a standard Laravel app you can run yourself today. There’s no Docker image, one-click installer, or self-host guide yet — a packaged Docker path and enterprise air-gap options are on the roadmap. Or skip the ops entirely and use our hosted cloud.

Translation memory reuses exact matches (keyed by source hash, target locale, and model) instantly, at no quota cost, and tracks the words and cost it saves you. To be clear about how it works: it is a single global, anonymous pool shared across the platform, not a private per-organization store — entries carry no project or organization, so a match may come from another tenant and your translations can serve someone else’s exact match. Nothing records who contributed an entry. The one control is a per-project toggle: switch it off and the project neither reads from nor writes to the pool.

Yes, on Team plans and up. Semantic translation memory embeds your source strings with pgvector and retrieves the nearest human-reviewed neighbor as a $0 suggestion and as grounding for the AI. Unlike the exact-match pool, the semantic path is strictly scoped to your own organization — the hard tenant boundary — and only ever reads translations a human has reviewed. It is suggest-only: a fuzzy match is never auto-written, it just gives the reviewer (and Claude) a nearby, already-approved example to work from. Enable it per project with a single toggle.

Strings move through translation states — AI-translated, human-edited, and reviewed — so you always know a string’s status. On top of that there is a full review workflow: request review on a string, approve it individually or in bulk, and every approval is attributed to the reviewer who made it. Threaded comments with @mentions sit on the row, mentions fan out to a per-user notification inbox with daily or weekly digests and an optional Slack channel, and version history with revert means no approval is a one-way door.

Yes. @transglot/mcp is a first-party Model Context Protocol server that exposes 15 tools mapped 1:1 onto the public REST API — read a project and its languages, read and upsert translations, trigger and poll AI translation batches, retry failed ones, run QA, manage glossary terms, and pull or push whole files. Read-only tools are annotated as such, every mutating tool states exactly what it changes, and the three that consume AI word quota (translate_missing, retry_failed_batch, run_qa) say so in their description, so the agent knows the cost before it calls. It authenticates with the same scoped tgl_ project token as the CLI and the REST API, and honors the same push / pull / manage abilities.

Real SAML SSO ships — a login, assertion-consumer (ACS), and metadata endpoint, built on the onelogin/php-saml toolkit — with just-in-time user provisioning and an enforce-SSO option for your verified domains.
