the business case
See what the engine could save you.
Every update drafted into the languages you ship, checked on every row, without growing the team. Put your own numbers in: the ledger re-prices your whole program as you type, and the one figure you cannot move is our published rate.

The rest is reviewed by a person, priced at your full human rate. Post-editing normally costs less than that, so the saving shown is the pessimistic one.

Our side is priced at the published $0.0008 a word metered rate, not a headline figure. Your plan includes words, so a real bill is usually lower. Human work is priced at the rate you set, opening on a $0.16 industry figure for all-human translation. The drafted share is your assumption, not a measured rate. Review is priced at the full human rate, though post-editing is cheaper, so the saving shown is conservative.

Every assumption in the calculator, and where it bends.
Is the human rate realistic?
It is whatever you make it. The field opens at $0.16 a word, a round industry figure for fully human translation rather than a quote from any vendor, and it moves between $0.04 and $0.30. Put your own contract rate in and every figure on the page follows it.
What does Transglot cost at my volume?
The engine column prices every drafted word at our published $0.0008 a word metered rate, which is the conservative way round: paid plans include words at no marginal cost, so the real bill is usually lower. Free covers 100,000 words to start and 10,000 a month after, and the ladder from there is Starter $19/mo, Team $49/mo and Business $149/mo, with Enterprise priced against your volume.
Why is there still a review line?
Because people stay in the loop. The engine drafts, and the share you did not hand it is reviewed by a person at your full human rate. Nothing in this model assumes zero review, and turning the drafted share down makes the saving fall with it.
What about the strings that never change?
They cost nothing. Runs are diff-aware, so a row that did not change is not re-drafted and is not re-billed, and an exact match already in your translation memory is reused instead of drafted. That is why the only volume the model asks for is words changed a month.
Can I take this to procurement?
Yes. Talk to us and we will send the model with your numbers, the plan it lands on and the assumptions behind it on one page, along with the MSA, the DPA and the security review pack.
