the workflow

Connect your content. Review every language.

Connect once, choose your content and languages, then translate and review in the same project. The steps below show how it works in your tool.

  1. Connect your project

Request access to the private Transglot app, then add a connection with https://api.transglot.ai and a project token carrying the manage ability.

    connect
  2. Start a translation

Add the Start Translation action. Choose missing, stale or all source keys and optionally restrict the target locales.

    translate
  3. Listen for completion

In a separate Zap, add New Project Event and select the batch-completed or batch-failed event. Turn on the Zap to create its webhook subscription.

    events
  4. Continue the workflow

Use the event payload in your next Zap action. Turning off the event Zap removes its Transglot webhook subscription.

What you can translate and deliver.

Start translation batches from a Zap and react to project events in another Zap. Transglot uses your project token and the public API to connect localization with the rest of your workflow.

Translated output

Start an AI translation batch from a Zap. Use a separate project-event Zap to react when the batch completes or fails.

Keep in mind

The translation action returns the batch immediately; it does not wait for completion. This app does not include file push or locale pull actions. Only one translation batch can run per project at a time.

get connected

A few steps to your first connection.

Follow your tool’s setup below: add the connection, choose what to sync, and try it with a small set of content. Your team can keep working in the tools they already use.

What you need

a Transglot project token with the manage ability and access to the private Zapier app.

  • A Transglot project with its source and target locales configured.
  • Save credentials in the connection settings so your team can work without copying secrets between files.
  • Hosted API access requires a paid Transglot plan. AI translation uses your workspace’s word allowance.
  1. Request the private Transglot Zapier app from the team. It is not yet available through a public Zapier directory listing.

  2. In Transglot, open your project’s Settings → API tokens. Create a token with manage for translation batches and webhook subscriptions.

  3. Connect Transglot in Zapier with Base URL https://api.transglot.ai and the project token. Test the connection before adding actions.

  4. Test Start Translation with a small project. Use New Project Event in a separate Zap to continue after completion, then enable and test the event Zap.
